Chun - Same as Clear, except more milky colored. Good when overlapped with Blue, Ohata, orTen moku type glaze. Can also be a great base glaze through the addition of colorants.
Top row is fired in medium Reduction in a gas kiln
Bottom row is fired in Oxidation in an electric kiln
Left side tiles are glazes on red stoneware clay
Right side tiles are glazed on porcelain clay
All tiles have a thin coat on bottom third, heavy coat at top third of each tile. |
