Underglaze Decorating Chalk Set #208

Set No. 208 — Eight chalk colors in a plastic hinged box, including Turquoise, Yellow, Rose, Dark Blue (CL), Brown, Dark Green, Black, and White. For pastel techniques, draw on bisque before finishing with a transparent glaze. Sketching on bisque results in pebbled appearance. Blend by rubbing with fingers. Obtain a watercolor effect by brushing sketches with water.

Amaco Lead-Free Underglaze Chalk Crayons work best with clear transparent glazes at Low fire, up to cone 5. Some colors work up to cone 10. Individual crayons measure approximately 2-3/4" × 7/16"  (7 cm × 1 cm), and are slightly irregular in shape.

All colors are rated AP except Dark Blue which is rated CL. Dark Blue contains soluble cobalt salts. Follow directions for use carefully.
