Koke (koh-kay) series developed in the 1960's, was named to mirror the mossy surface on rocks found in Japanese gardens. Today, this glaze series continues to be one of our most popular mid high fire glaze line. These glazes fire to a delicate mottled surface that work well on pieces that are textured or with high relief. Layering different Koke glazes, one on top of the other, works well in achieving a variegated surface with added color depth. Fire to cone 5-6
