CRESS, EAGLE KILN CONTOLLERS
Cress, Eagle Kiln Controllers will turn your manual kiln into a versatile electronic kiln, providing modern convenience, safety and flexibility features that allow you the freedom to concentrate more on your art than your firing.
Installation is simple. Install the thermocouple (temperature sensor) into your kiln; plug your kiln into the controller, then plug the Eagle kiln controller into power. The controller may be hung on a wall or placed on a table.
When ordering Cress Eagle Controllers, please include your make, model, voltage and amps of your existing kiln.
Eagle Kiln Controllers are available in two models to suite your needs, wants and budget. Select which you prefer above.
The Eagle Basic: Utilizes the economy model 3K control.
- Cone Fire Mode (Automatic Operation):
Three pre-programmed firing speeds (heating rates).
And User selectable, cone 022 thru cone 10.
User selectable, delay start and soak time.
- Ramp-Hold Mode (Manual Programming):
The control has four program memory files, each program consists of from 1 to 6 segments, each Segment consist of a ramp rate, an end temperature setting and a soak time.
- User Selectable Features:
Audible (Beeping) alarm, Temperature Scale (Degrees F or degrees C.), delay start, Maximum programmable temperature.
- Safety Features:
Thermocouple and power failure detection.
The Eagle Pro: Utilizes the same full sized, full featured control available on Cress kilns.
Simple operation for novice users, while satisfying advanced users.
- Cone Fire Mode (Automatic Operation):
Two additional pre-programmed firing speeds for a total of five.
Cone temperature offsets for fine tuning temperature accuracy.
- Ramp-Hold Mode (Manual Programming):
Two additional program memory files (six total), with a file linking feature to create a 16 segment file, or linking to a Cone Fire
program, for complex firing operations and ability to write custom Cone Fire programs The Eagle Pro is your best Option!.
