Kintsugi Kits
Kintsugi, also known as kintsukuroi, is the Japanese art of repairing broken ceramic objects by mending the areas of breakage with lacquer dusted or mixed with powdered gold, silver, or platinum, a method similar to the maki-e technique. Kintsugi, literally translates to 'repairing with gold'. The Kintsugi technique originated in Japan during the Muromachi period, under the shogunate of Ashigaka Yoshimasa (1435-1490).
