Clay Planet Navy Blue Cone 10 Glaze
Navy Blue - Dark, cobalt blue. Glossy, good overlapped with Chun but will likely run. Do not overlap near the bottom of the pot. Do not cover entire pot with a coat of white and then a coat of Navy it will run badly. Top row is fired in medium Reduction in a gas kiln Bottom row is fired in Oxidation in an electric kiln Left side tiles are glazes on red stoneware clay Right side tiles are glazed on porcelain clay All tiles have a thin coat on bottom third, heavy coat at top third of each tile. |
