The model PF8 Craft/Test Kiln comes with a Genesis Mini Touchscreen Controller. The Genesis controller includes a touchscreen interface and WIFI connectivity. The intuitive interface is easy to use and understand. A free phone app allows you to monitor your kiln remotely.

The Plug-n-Fire Kiln has hard ceramic element channels, and a strong solid-top stand. 8" Square x 9" High (0.33 cu ft). The sides are extra-insulated with 2-1/2" K23 brick and 1" of backup insulation, and the top and bottom are 3" of K23 brick. With only 12.5 amps this kiln can fire to Cone 10 on a standard 15 amp circuit. The kiln plugs into a separate control panel mounted away from the kiln. The thermocouple also plugs into a jack on the panel so no assembly wiring is needed by the user. There is a door safety switch that shuts all power to the elements when the door is opened. (The PF8 is not yet listed to UL499)
