San Jose White Clay - Cone 06 to 1
San Jose White Earthenware Clay
Like other low fire clays on the market, San Jose White has undergone a recent recipe change. If you have used this product in the past, we strongly recommend testing this new formulation.
Clay Planet's San Jose White is a similar formulation to Low Fire White but with grog added to produce a stronger, true white earthenware clay body with higher strength. Fires to a bright white, with slight grog specks. Great for school projects or hand built low-fire sculpture.
May be fired to Cone 1-2 for even greater strength.
We recommend a bisque firing of cone 04 or 03 for added durability.
