Waxy White - A versatile clear to milky glaze. Quite dependable and similar to Chun. Like Clear it suitable for color additions. Top row is fired in medium Reduction in a gas kiln Bottom row is fired in Oxidation in an electric kiln Left side tiles are glazes on red stoneware clay Right side tiles are glazed on porcelain clay All tiles have a thin coat on bottom third, heavy coat at top third of each tile. |
