Western 8500 Cone 10 Clear Transparent Brushing Glaze
Clay Planet's High Fire cone 9/10 clear glaze formulated for use with underglaze.
Western 8500 is clear, stable, food safe, and applies easy in brushing form over your Western or other underglaze projects.
Available in Pint, Gallon, 25 lbs dry, and 5 gallon bucket.
Apply 2 or up to 3 thin coats brushed on to bisque. Test thickness on a test piece to see the best fired result.
Note: Dry Glaze and 5 gallon buckets are intended for use as dipping glazes.
Mix Dry glaze to a recommended specific gravity of up to 1.45, let slake overnight, and adjust to between 1.4-1.38 for best results.
