PC-18 Tuscan Blue
PC-18 Tuscan Blue is a deep blue, semi-matte glaze that breaks light blue to moss green over texture.
Layers well over AMACO Celadons, other Potter's Choice and Satin Matte glazes. Glaze layering fired results may run if paired with a runny glaze. We recommend testing any layering combination prior to putting it on a full ceramic piece.
Shake well before use. For best results, do not thin the glaze and apply 3 brush coats to Cone 04 bisque. (Let the glaze dry between coats.) Glaze fire to Cone 5-6. Due to variations in raw materials used during manufacturing, we recommend firing glazed test tiles before using each new batch number of glaze.
Potter's Choice glazes are a collection of favorite studio-type glazes made lead-free and easy. These glazes were fired in an oxidation kiln to mid-fire cone 5. They are made for anyone who would like to achieve the Cone 10 reduction effects without having to have a reduction gas kiln or firing at that high temperature. The PC Series glazes look beautiful and authentic. They work well over any stoneware or porcelain clay body at either cone 5 or 6.
