We offer the Lid Lifter Upgrade Kit for your 10 and 122 sided kilns. Skutt did not start making the kits until 2003 so your kiln may be older and it was not included at that time. check the photo for the included hardware. If you see anything else you need, please call with any questions.

Installing a Lid Lifter

It can take a good 1 to 3 hours to install a Lid Lifter Upgrade Kit depending on the model of your kiln, so be sure to budget your time accordingly. The good news is that we have really good step by step instructions. Equipped with only a screw gun, even a novice repair person can install this kit.
